In one line

Zoap is a Deo Farms hybrid listed as Pink Guava x Rainbow Sherbet, bred by Deep East of DEO Farms in Oakland and grown by Wizard Trees. Published profiles lead with caryophyllene, then limonene and humulene. The name describes the floral, soap-like note reviewers report. As of October 3, 2026, Zoap THCA flower is federal hemp only until December 11, 2026.

Zoap is a hybrid from Deo Farms in Oakland, listed by Leafly and Weedmaps as Pink Guava x Rainbow Sherbet and grown out by Wizard Trees. Leafly’s profile leads with caryophyllene, then limonene and humulene, and the name is a literal description: reviewers report a sweet, floral, soap-like nose.

Which Rainbow Sherbet is in Zoap?

The Deo Farms one. Weedmaps says Zoap came out of “successive selections within DEO’s RS project”, the same Rainbow Sherbet line that produced RS11. Leafly’s genetics note is more specific: OZ Kush selections became Pink Guava, Pink Guava crossed with Sunset Sherbert started the RS line, and RS#16 was bred back to make Zoap. Leafly’s standalone Rainbow Sherbet page describes a different, older cross (Blackberry x Purple Champagne). Leafly’s database still links Zoap to that entry as a child strain, but its own Zoap text points to the Deo Farms line instead.

Many menus write the cross as Pink Guava x RS11. Leafly’s note names RS#16, not RS11, and we found no breeder statement that settles it, so we file the RS number as disputed. What is solid is the Pink Guava side. Leafly describes Pink Guava as a Deo Farms pick from a seed hunt of OZ Kush from Dying Breed Seeds.

Same family, same published top three terpenes. The difference buyers describe is the floral, perfumed edge on Zoap against the brighter stone-fruit and citrus of RS11.

Why does Zoap smell like soap?

“Soap” in reviews describes a clean, floral, perfume-like note sitting on top of sweet fruit. Leafly’s flavor text reads “sweet, floral, soap flavor with some earthy undertones”. Weedmaps adds “a gassy bite” under it.

The three terpenes Leafly lists do not explain the soap note on their own. Caryophyllene reads as pepper and spice, limonene as citrus, humulene as wood and hops. We found no published analysis that ties Zoap’s soap note to one compound. Two practical points follow:

  • A COA terpene panel tells you how aromatic a Batch is, not whether it has the soap note.
  • Volatile top notes fade with time and heat. A fresh test date and a recent harvest matter more for Zoap than for a heavy, gas-forward strain.

What effects do people report?

Leafly reviewers report feeling relaxed, giggly and hungry, with “waves of euphoria and positivity” and a “quick onset”. Weedmaps users split evenly across relaxed, euphoric and happy, on a small sample. These are user reports, not predictions, and they vary with dose, tolerance and setting. None of this is medical advice.

Grow and phenotype notes

  • Flowering time: Weedmaps lists 63 to 70 days indoors for feminized seeds. Leafly publishes no figure. Seed stock is not the same as the original clone, so treat that window as a guide.
  • Selection by number: the RS line was picked phenotype by phenotype. That means “Zoap” from another grower may be a different cut, or a relabel.
  • Clone source: Weedmaps credits the Wizard Trees grow-out. Ask any seller where the cut came from. “Unknown” is an acceptable answer; a confident story with no source is not.

Zoap as THCA flower: what to check on the COA

  1. Delta-9 THC at or below 0.3% dry weight. That is the federal hemp test until December 11, 2026.
  2. Total THC. Labs compute delta-9 + (THCA x 0.877). Example: 28.0% THCA and 0.20% delta-9 give 24.76% total THC.
  3. Terpene panel. Caryophyllene, limonene and humulene near the top fit the published profile. A panel led by something else is worth a question.
  4. Total terpenes and test date. For a strain sold on its nose, both numbers matter.
  5. The lab. ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and a sample ID you can look up.

Log 2026-10-03

As of October 3, 2026, Zoap THCA flower passes as federal hemp only on the delta-9 test, and only until December 11, 2026. Section 781 of P.L. 119-37 rewrites the hemp definition in 7 U.S.C. 1639o to count total THC, THCA included. H.R. 6500, signed September 2, 2026, set December 11 as the date for naturally occurring cannabinoids such as THCA. State law can be stricter today. After December 11, high-THCA Zoap is marijuana federally and is sold only in licensed state markets.

Asked at the desk

What is Zoap a cross of?

Leafly and Weedmaps list Pink Guava x Rainbow Sherbet, bred by Deo Farms of Oakland. Both place it inside Deo Farms' Rainbow Sherbet (RS) line, and Leafly's genetics note says RS#16 was bred back to make Zoap. Menus that write it as Pink Guava x RS11 conflict with that note.

Why is it called Zoap?

The name points at the aroma. Leafly describes a sweet, floral, soap flavor with earthy undertones, and Weedmaps describes a distinctive soapy note over fruit and a gassy bite.

Is Zoap related to RS11?

Yes, through the same family. Both come from Deo Farms' Rainbow Sherbet project and both carry Pink Guava as a parent.

What terpenes are in Zoap?

Leafly's profile lists caryophyllene first, then limonene and humulene. A Batch COA is the only way to see the numbers for the flower in front of you.
